Review on THE FACE SHOP Clean Face Oil-Free BB Cream

Last year, I was shopping for christmas gifts for my favorite sisters-in-law when I checked out The Face Shop in SM Megamall. The shop was conveniently located on the 2nd Floor in Building B.

After carefully checking most of the items, I've decided to purchase 2 bottles of THE RICE Ceramide Lasting Moisturizer for my dear sistahs.

Then it's time to buy myself a treat - yay! Instead of treating myself to an exciting Mango Bravo cake at Conti's or to a delectable Mango cake or Triple Choco at Red Ribbon, I got myself another BB cream! YUMMY!!

After mentioning that I've got oily skin and I prefer something which is light & oil-free, the pretty sales clerk told me to try their CLEAN FACE Oil-Free BB Cream. It has Chamomile extract which is commonly known for its soothing effects.

Ingredients for the Quick Clear Complex have been improved to treat oily or problem skin quickly and effectively. I got it for PHP 795.00 - it seems a bit expensive for such a small tube.

It has a slightly runny consistency, not so greasy feel and blends really well. I like the scent of chamomile and just by the scent of the cream, it relaxes not just your face but your whole body.

However, the coverage is light and if you need ultimate coverage for blemishes, dark spots and other minor skin imperfections on your face, then this won't work for you.

But if you need quick relief for a few zits on your face, this cream can definitely soothe your tired face but not diminish your problem areas.

Also, without SPF, it's not advisable to wear this if you plan to go out in the sun.

As for the oil-free part of the cream, well, I can say that it doesn't make me oilier than usual but I still get pretty oily. Oil appears an hour after application. But still, I love this BB cream for the soothing effect aside from the light, non-greasy and natural-looking feel to it. I use this more often than the TONYMOLY Expert Triple BB Cream.
